Well my dad and brother have gone home..that sucks. It's kinda nice to have the house back to its normal activity, but it was awesome having MY family here. I wasn't too sad to see them go since we will be going out there in about 2 months. They came out for Antionette's birthday and hopefully from now on Antionette will remember who Grandpa and Uncle Danny are. Antionette had a fun on her birthday. I, of course, took a picture with her at her birthday time, i try to remember on both my kids birthday, but Canberra was just born too early! but then stupid me forgot to take the camera with me to the birthday party..i was pretty upset! i did make her birthday cake though, it could have turned out way more cute but i decided to go get my hair done last minute and ended up spending more time there then expected [i dont think the lady had done highlights in a LONG time!!]
I made Antionette a princess castle cake and she loved it! It was chocolate with vanilla icing, and i used cake cones for the towers and sugar cones for top points. antionette wanted a white and purple cake, so for the towers and i dipped the cones in melted chocolate, but the sugar cones wernt very good and keeping the chocolate on them. but it still turned out cute.
Before my brother and dad left we took a few pictures in the front yard, my dad was hurt that he only had a few random pictures on my myspace so i tried to take another few random ones around the house. Plus he wanted a couple with both the girls to use as his desktop picture at home.
Oh yeah..we also went to kings island..it was sooo much fun. it was my first time going and strangely my brothers second. But we took the girls with us as well and spent a good chunk of time in the kiddie park and then went to the water park. Antionette went on her first big girl roller coaster, she was a little scared on the ride but then decided after that she loved it. Julie [jons cousin] met up with us for the water park and watched the girls for us while us "adults" went to ride the big kid rides :) my dads plan was to just hang out while we went on the rides, but said that if kaylee [who is 8] could go on the big rides so could he. I think he forgot how fun roller coasters could be. he had an accident a few years ago that made he scared of heights, but i think we made him get over that real fast! The only time i got nervous in a ride was drop zone..the one where it takes u high in the sky and drops ya..i was screaming before the ride even started going up, but i liked it!
Hmm..i think i wrote enough, until next time!
