im totally nervous, tonight is my first test for school...shampooing!
and your probably thinking [like most people do] whats so special about shampooing?!?! well the one thing im nervous about is preparing the client for the shampoo. i have to use the neck bands [paper around the neck] then place the towel and last the cape. during my test if the cape touches the skin AT ALL around the neck, i get 10 points knocked of right then and there, already dropping me to a B. but after that im sure ill do totally fine, as ive been repeating it OVER AND OVER in my head. you know your favorite part is getting the shampoo because of the nice massage and fun stuff, thats the technique i have to conquer to be certified..woot woot.
next we're learning about rollers for curls and perms. its not hard at all, i think im gunna slide right through this part... ::knock on wood::
other then school, things are going well for the most part. we should be getting our tax refunds in about a week or so. we will be paying off the rest of our bills and then re-insulating the house so our utility bills will come down and the girls wont be freezing in the toy room!
jon got his schedule changed around so now he'll have every other saturday and tuesdays off. so i will be needing some baby sitters on the saturdays jon has to work! i havnt had to go to school on a saturday, so i dont know how boring that will be, oh well!
hmmm...valentines day is coming up, jon isnt at all romantic, so i highly doubt he's put any thought into our date night. it sucks, i wish he'd be more thoughtful when it comes to a lot of things...and he wonders why we dont have a great "bedroom" life haha.

i'm soooo glad school is going well. if you need shampooing practice i will offer my head up to you for practice. i SHOULD be home next weekend! as for valentines day-do something nice for him. the guy doesn't always have to come up with the romantic stuff. surprise him with something rockin and i bet he'll return the favor. the old golden rule-do unto you others... you know the rest.
I'm closer! Use my head to practice on. I love getting my hair shampooed. So why can't the cape touch your neck, I guess because people have neck cooties and if it doesn't touch them, you don't have to wash it. Crazy. You know where to find me if you need babysitters.
