nothing too great going on there...ok a lied, maybe a few random things here and there, and thats why im posting :)
i had to post what antionette said this morning before i forgot. antionette asked if i was sick and i told her no. she then told me to pretend i was sick so should could be the doctor. i dont remember how it started, but i told her she was smart..
"you're so smart antionette"
"i know im smart, thats why im a doctor"
"well duh, you have to be smart to be a doctor"
"you dont say duh to the doctor, mom!"
thats probably the funniest thing she has said all morning, everything else have been smart butt remarks from the attitude she is learning from her mother and the twins!
i start CREW week this week, i dont exactly remember what crew stands for, but all i know is for the next 2 weeks ill be doing all cuts and coloring and finally learning to do mens hair cuts. i get a few more things to add to my school "kit." tomorrow i'll be getting my clippers, a razor, my senior book, and i get to loose the poncho [aka smock] and graduate to the senior apron, SWEET! oh and we get 2 more mannequins..a male and female!
mrs. mckee, kelly, jen, me, kamii decided to stay home from school this past saturday so we could get the girls out of the house and do something, so we decided to take them to the boonshoft museum in dayton. they had fun, but i think they like the cincinnati one better. but it was nice cuz nobody was really there, so they got to play with everything when they wanted to.
also last weekend i decided i wanted to continue to teach myself to do acrylic nails. my instructor
taught us the basic things we needed to know so we would have the information for state board, but we wont be able to actually do them downstairs on clients. but she said if i was interested i could practice myself at home and if she felt in the future that i was able to do them, then i would be able to actually do acrylics on clients. i was surprised by how much i liked doing them, so i bought the student kit at sally's and practiced on the twins last week! my only mistake was that i bought clear tips instead of white, so i had to paint the tips on britts, but i think they turned out pretty swell!

The girls are SO cute! You are thriving with this cosmetology thing! I like it. You're gonna just keep getting better and I can't wait to get super-discounted hair cuts!
the pics of the girls are super cute and i could totally imagine antionette saying that stuff-she really is super smart. when i come to visit i need to sign up for nails, a hair cut, and highlights. you down?
I say we make a day of it, I want my nails done too! I need a hair cut as well, not really a cut, just trim.
