my first week on the job...and off to cali!

i have to be honest, after my first day on the job i was not looking forward to going back the next day. all i did was sit in front of a computer the whole time cuz my "trainer" of the day was busy the whole night. but as the week went on it got some what better, but im glad to have a couple days off. unfortunately my manager scheduled me for thursday [the day before we leave] which is also pay day. i was hoping to have thursday for me to run around and get everything we needed for the plane trip. well i guess ill have to pack thursday [well get everything together and organized] and run around like a chicken with its head cut off on friday...anyone wanna babysit?!?!

so i think i have already had my embarrassing moment at work. friday, a lady came in to get a passport photo done, and since this one was pretty simple and an adult, the assistant manager went ahead and let me take the photos. so i was positioning the camera, zooming in and all that jazz, when i squeezed the handle [that makes the camera move around] and pulled the camera a little to hard and it smacked me right in the face. to make things worse, it made my contact pop out, and landed on my cheek. i had to run out of the room to laugh at myself, and my assistant manager and another employee waiting for the lady to leave the room until they busted out in laughter. UGH

so yes finally friday is the day. i have been waiting what seems like FOREVER for this time to get here. i can not wait to get home to cali..i feel like a little girl. Antionette is getting very excited as well, mentioning disneyland every second of the day. whenever she sees a character on TV she just assumes they will be at disneyland and says she cant wait to see them. i think she finally understands that only the characters on the disney channel are the ones she will be seeing. at disney california adventure they have a playhouse disney live on stage show, she got to see it a couple years ago, but this time im sure she will be more into it!

im hoping jon doesnt make me go to the gym today [i havnt been in a looong time, but i wanna have a lazy day!] i just wanna stay home and not have to think about getting ready and going out. i have to leave the house tomorrow anyway to go to the dr, then grandmas for dinner, so maybe ill convince him to wait till tomorrow.

i think thats it.....
